Biography:

Amy Acker was born on December 5, 1976 in Dallas, Texas, USA. She attended Southern Methodist University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in theatre.

She made her television debut when she starred as Winifred “Fred” Burkle in the series Angel. She also played the character of Illyria as part of the show’s final season. For her performance, she won the Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress on Television in 2003.

She also became known as Kelly Peyton in Alias. Her film work includes Catch Me If You Can, 21 and a Wake-Up, Vile, The Cabin in the Woods and Much Ado About Nothing.
