Today, May 31, 2023, at about 8:30 p.m., a young woman between the ages of 16 and 19 intentionally entered the right of way about a thousand yards south of Whitman Station.

The MBTA Transit Police have confirmed that she sadly died as a result of the strike-related injuries she sustained.
