On April 24, 2023, ‘The Texas Tenors’ musician Mitch Keirsey passed dead. The Texas Tenors sent the following statement on social media to share their sad news.
Last night, we lost a man who was truly remarkable. We are so heartbroken over the passing of Mitch Keirsey, a member of The Texas Tenors’ 3 Bottle Band, that words cannot express our sorrow.

In high school and college, Mitch joined bands and started performing. Later, he started his own rock bands, performing six nights per week in pubs and occasionally at concerts.
After settling to Branson, Missouri, he participated in a number of local events as a singer and musician, playing guitar, keys, drums, and bass. He started off playing a variety of shows and songs.
After working as the pianist, guitarist, and musical director for the Hee Haw show when it originally debuted in a Branson theater, Mitch went on tour with performers like Bo Didley, Chubby Checker, Ray Price, and Roy Clark, to mention a few.

His students’ ages have ranged from six to eighteen, and he enjoys imparting his expertise of all aspects of music to them.
Keirse Death Cause
Stage 4 lung cancer was discovered in guitarist Mitch Keirsey. He underwent surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy, and he spent a lot of time in hospice care. Unfortunately, on April 24, 2023, he succumbed to cancer.
According to Mitch’s daughter Kayla, who posted a confirmation of his demise on social media, he died peacefully last night about 8:30 p.m. His famiin members will soon make arrangements for his funeral.
