Biography:

John Magaro was born on February 16, 1983 in Akron, Ohio, USA. He started acting in local theater. During his teens, he also appeared in TV commercials. In 2006, he made his TV acting debut in an episode of Conviction. The following year, he had his first film appearance in the movie The Brave One. He went on to appear in the film Assassination of a High School President.

He landed more roles on the big screen during the 2010s, including Liberal Arts, Deep Powder, and Unbroken, to name a few. In 2015, he played Charlie Geller in The Big Short. Between 2015 and 2019, he played Vince Muccio in Orange Is the New Black. At the same time, he had recurring roles in The Good Wife and Crisis in Six Scenes. In 2018, he played Victor Polizzi in Jack Ryan. Recently, he starred as Leonard Peabody / Harold Jenkins in The Umbrella Academy.
