The identify of the driver who perished in a catastrophic one-vehicle accident in Buchanan County, Virginia, has been made public by the Virginia State Police.

The driver of a 2001 Chevrolet Lumina went off the right side of the road and overturned in a creek, causing a collision on Tuesday on Route 609. At a nearby hospital, he passed away.
Nicholas Vanover, 44, of Vansant, Virginia, has been recognized by the police as the driver.
