Ghsplash has heard of the death of a third teacher employed by the Cherry Creek School District.
Scott Nash, a physical education teacher at Willow Creek Elementary and a freshman baseball coach, passed away over the weekend, according to the Cherry Creek School District.

His reason of death is still unknown. When asked the school system if his cause of death was connected to the death of another teacher in the district from bacterial meningitis, the district responded that they did not think so.
The letter to the neighborhood said that the deaths were unrelated and resulted from natural causes. The cause of Geoffroy’s death is still being looked into, according to CCSD.

On Wednesday, Eaglecrest High School was closed. The CCSD is attempting to track down faculty and staff members who may have had frequent interactions with Schmidt.
